Sometimes the music syncs up with the buildings being built. Also I can’t stop laughing when Dr Wright keeps jumping up and down and whilst this music is playing. Excellent video.

I got a megalopolis on this map once the "regular" way with R donut blocks in the center and rows of I and C at the edges, i really had to squeeze though, i think part of my strategy was bulldozing schools and hospitals so they'd be replaced by regular R buildings. There's also something weird with the way the game assigns citizens to housing, it often seems to help to wait a bit for things to fully grow before building new things.

you had the airport and seaport operating and ready to crash at any moment, you didn't build roads to get the amusement parks or casinos, and you left 11 hospitals and 4 schools and still got a fucking megapolis that quickly. you have my respect. BUT YOU BULLDOZED A DEVELOPED RESIDENTIAL TO PLACE THE MARIO STATUE WTF BULLDOZE ONE OF THE 11 HOSPITALS THAT LITERALLY DO NOTHING. i'm stressed 😫

have you ever seen the ending for the Japanese (famicom I believe) version? it has multiple endings and cut scenes in between each level. It actually has a story where the western version got gutted of anything. Even the ending is lame!

The same thing has happened to me a few times where I just can't break the 500K barrier. (499,840 and it stalled once) Finally, I set the time lapse to SLOW and it worked.

I thought a landfill was a garbage dump (and is simcity 3 and beyond) not removing water for making space for more land.

The Mayor's home in Megalopolis version is a big mansion.

Although in real life Tokyo is a true national capital megalopolis. Even I think Boston, Detroit and Las Vegas need to become great megalopolis.

I certainly had expected a much deeper, more involving ending than this to a hard, even seemingly unwinnable, game like Battletoads. Many levels that took many months to beat, like the Clinger Winger, the Terra Tubes, the Rat Race, Volkmire's Inferno, and even the Turbo Tunnel. Plus you only get 3 opportunities to continue where you left off if you get Game Over, and the 4th Game Over is complete Game Over where no matter what you do, you're going all the way back to Ragnarok's Canyon. Plus I even noticed that, outside the Wookie Hole, even 1-Ups are limited. Your score can only get you 9 extra lives, and once it reaches 999999, that's it.

Is it weird that I can beat both versions with no problem?

A rather anticlimactic ending for such a tough game.

Did anyone ever fill up the entire map with parks and just make a nice peaceful village instead of aiming for a Metropolis? Or was that just me? I love small towns! I used to try and make some really unique and beautiful villages but was careful to never let it get too big! 🙂

That's it. That is the hardest game ever. I couldn't even beat it with cheat codes.

I Downloaded this Hidden Jewel like 6months Ago, and I wanted to Play it untill the end since 2months (But because Things, I had the time to do a great determined playthrough just 2 weeks ago), Just because I wanted to know Who it would be the Final Boss. And My Hype increased A LOT when I discoverded when the original name of this game was "GOD SLAYER", And when I was at the Tower, I Thought I Knew that this would been a Great end, Figthing with a God probably harder than the Draygon Emperor, or the tower it self would have some God-Like Guardian. But it was JUST A 5HIT REACTOR, And not even the music, scenario, attacks were Epic, It's a quite Boring. And the credits Too were great with that Melody, But Waiting 2Months for a Final Battle Like a God... It would been Better wait Draygon In the Tower,his Dragon form Battle It's Better for me. (Well, each Boss of this game is Better for me). One of the most Epics Games I Ever Played... One of the Worst Final Battles I've Fought. ¡¡¡¡¡¡IT HAD EVERYTHING TO BE A GRAND FINALE!!!!!
